Concentrate feeds are high-density nutritional supplements formulated to deliver essential energy, protein, vitamins, and minerals that forages alone cannot supply. They are crucial for optimizing growth, immunity, reproduction, and productivity in modern livestock systems.

Camel concentrates are precisely balanced for the unique physiology and metabolic needs of camels. Whether for growth, milk, or endurance, these formulas contain specific energy-to-fiber ratios, trace minerals, and additives tailored to camelid health and performance.

For calves, concentrate feeding can begin at 10–14 days of age to promote early rumen development. Camel calves typically start around 4 weeks. Early introduction supports skeletal growth, muscle formation, and immune system maturation.

Absolutely. In fact, for optimal digestion and to prevent metabolic issues like acidosis, at least 35% of the daily ration should be roughage (straw, silage, alfalfa). The balance between concentrate and fiber ensures healthy rumen function and feed efficiency.

Store in a dry, shaded, and ventilated environment, ideally off the ground and away from direct sunlight or humidity. Use clean containers or sealed bags to avoid spoilage, contamination, or vitamin degradation.
